So I was out shopping over the weekend, and I saw this Top Gear book. The theory goes that all men like Top Gear, so I bought it for Secret Santa. I went slightly over a fiver, but not by too much. Hope he likes it. Now I can try to build up a little excitement for my own present.
The crest is building up nicely. All that remains is the 50p piece. It seemed like the different denominations came into use a week or two at a time, so I don't expect to wait too long to complete the set.
This Christmas, I'm doing my first ever Secret Santa. I drew some guy I know nothing about. The budget is £5. What does £5 get you these days?! Last day of work is next Tuesday, so that basically gives me the weekend to think of something. Also, should it be a joke present? One of the guys I work with suggested a hatchet, since the guy is part of a consultancy team responsible for cutting the number of jobs in work. I don't want to cause any offence, so may not use that idea.
Getting there. Not long until I have the full crest.
