Last night I came home to find two great big boxes sitting in the hall with my name on them. As you can see, Discraft have done a great job in realising Darragh's design. Discs will go on sale shortly.

The Virgin Megastore in the centre of Belfast is now closed, leaving behind this farewell note. At least HMV will remain.

Tie Up This Loose End

After about 3 weeks, my Xbox 360 was returned to me with a new motherboard. Much jubilation ensued thereafter. Then I got a Wii for Christmas, so the Xbox has been benched for the time being.

Post Holiday Blues

Just to clear up a few things: my secret Santa present was a corkscrew. I did my best to seem pleased. The guy getting my present left work a day or two early, so he's only getting it now. I don't know if he's pleased or not. Don't care much either. Sucks to be back at work.

Man Present

So I was out shopping over the weekend, and I saw this Top Gear book. The theory goes that all men like Top Gear, so I bought it for Secret Santa. I went slightly over a fiver, but not by too much. Hope he likes it. Now I can try to build up a little excitement for my own present.

The crest is building up nicely. All that remains is the 50p piece. It seemed like the different denominations came into use a week or two at a time, so I don't expect to wait too long to complete the set.
